Thrilled to see my show Cynosures at Wally Workman Gallery selected as the Art Pick in September’s issue of Tribeza. Special thanks to Ivy Moore for the feature; your thoughtful words bolster the intention behind my work.
To this guy, and all the others (family, friends and strangers alike), who attended the opening of Cynosures last night, my most sincere gratitude. You made my heart sing with joy! And, of course, to Wally Workman Gallery, thank you for supporting and encouraging my work and providing such a lovely space to share it with all. I am beyond grateful. For those who could not attend yesterday, but are interested in experiencing the show, please know that it will remain up through September 29th.
The opening reception for my show, Cynosures, is tonight, Saturday, September 7th at Wally Workman Gallery, 4-7pm. I’m thrilled to share this body of work with y’all, so please stop by and say hi!
Recently, I completed the final piece for my upcoming show, CYNOSURES. 32 paintings, all created within the last year, will be unveiled September 7th at Wally Workman Gallery in Austin, TX. It’s an ambitious body of work that required diligence and determination and a fair amount of risk to complete. A spiritual journey that summoned daily observation, introspection and meditation for me, the artist. Ultimately, my hope is that the pieces together culminate into a vibrant, immersive and stimulating experience for you, the viewer. So, mark your calendars! I look forward to sharing my work with you soon!
